Most people already know that eating well and regular physical activity are things you need to do to in order to achieve optimal health, but there are several problems with this limited thinking. Not everyone's body type is the same, and the food that one person eats and thrives off of can have opposite consequences for another person.

Perhaps the biggest problem is that there are two other vital components to optimal health which are often overlooked: stress and sleep! When a person is under stress, their body releases the hormone cortisol. Cortisol is a very important steroid hormone and it is released when the body is under any type of physiological stress (physical, mental, nutritional, etc.) One of the biggest areas our coaches focus on is stress management. If a person is under too much stress, even a great diet and exercise program won't be enough to combat the negative effects of being under too much stress. We teach various stress reduction techniques like meditation, diaphragmatic breathing, aromatherapy, tai chi, and several others.

At Team Youphoric, we thoroughly assess posture, mobility, strength, and movement, and create specific programs based on each person's unique body type and personal goals. Our coaches work with a variety of people and teach them how to listen to their bodies and find what works best for them. We don't put people on diets; we teach them to listen to their bodies and see what feels and works the best for each individual. Meet Stephen, Head Coach


Stephen Daniele, MA, CFSS, ELDOA

Stephen founded Team Youphoric in 2004. He is an award-winning Holistic Health Coach based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada. He has worked with multiple world champions, gold medalists, professional athletes, Olympians, cover models, and award-winning actors, and has been lecturing on Holistic Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, and Program Design since 2010.

Stephen has over 3,700 hours of formal, in-class training in the areas of nutrition, exercise physiology, psychology, and assessment and treatment. He also has over 9,000 hours of coaching experience, having coached a wide variety of people ranging from people with severe physical pain and limitations to professional athletes. He has coached members of the Canadian Olympic Team, NHL, NBA, CFL, PGA, IBF, WBA, and NCC - among other organizations - and has treated people with various injuries, cardiovascular diseases, musculoskeletal conditions, autoimmune diseases, and postural dysfunctions.

The International College of Applied Nutrition and Strength teaches its students the five NMP assessments to determine a client's profile to start getting rapid results. The assessments include:
